Have windows 10 and jaws 18 a 64 bytt computer. Have purchased a thumb drive want to back up files on my computer. The person at office depot showed me basics just wondered about getting the folders onto the thumb drive. I use IE obviously edge is not usable yet.

Go to the file.
Don't open it.
Press the applications key.
Go to send to.
Find the thumb drive.
Say okay.

It works exactly as it always did if that helps.
I assume you've done it before, so.

Not like this I haven't. Do I need to tell the computer what folders I need to back up?

If you want it to do them in one swoop, yes.
You do that the same too kind of.
If you do them manually, no.

Thanks for the information. I'll start out doing files and then I may get another thumb drive just to back up the image. I'll ask about that or if you want to anser that now that's fine. Image sounds a little more complicated.

I personally would just use one drive. It is really easy and right on your computer.
You do it the same. You send the files to one drive after you've got it installed.
If you run office, you get something like a TB of storage.
No thumb drives and such to bother with.
You can access your files from any computer.
Give it a read.
